Camera Access
The Lead Capture Mobile App requires permission to access the device's camera in order to scan the QR code on the attendee badge.
When you open the app for the first time, you'll be asked to allow camera access. Select Allow to continue.
If you need to re-enable camera permissions, use the links below for step-by-step instructions based on your device type.
Scan QR Code
To capture a lead, scan the QR code on an attendee’s badge.

- Position the camera over the QR code on the attendee's badge to begin scanning.

- When the scan is successful, you will see a green checkmark icon.

- The app will automatically transition to the Lead Details screen where you can add information about the lead. To learn more, read this article.

NOTE
If you are online, the lead will automatically sync to the cloud.
- If the scan is unsuccessful, you will see a red alert icon.

Best Practices for Scanning a Badge
- Ensure you are scanning a QR code on an attendee's badge (not another ticket) for this event.
- Adjust the angle and move away from bright lighting so there isn't a glare.
- If the QR code is poor quality or cut off, the attendee may need to reprint their badge.
