Activating Speaker Ready System for Your Event

We recommend sharing this with your System Operator for the Speaker Ready System.

After installing the Speaker Ready System software on each of the devices that will be used at your event, it is time to activate these devices for your event. During this process you will assign each device a role within the system. To familiarize yourself with the different roles, please review the Speaker Ready System Network Overview article.

NOTE

Activating the devices can be done at any time, but typically happens onsite before your event begins.

To successfully activate the devices, each device must be connected to the Internet. For additional information about the Internet requirements for Speaker Ready System, please visit this article

Device activation is done using the Stations module in Eventscribe Onsite. To activate the devices, the person completing the activation must have either full or admin access to this module. Please review these articles to learn how to add a user to Eventscribe Onsite and assign the correct permission level to the user

The first step in this process is activating the Controller device(s).  

Once the Controller has been activated, you can activate the remaining devices. 

After all your devices are activated, you are ready to use Speaker Ready System at your event!
