CADMIUM RECOMMENDS
We recommend sharing this with your System Operator for the Speaker Ready System.
To create the Speaker Ready System network, the SRS Installer must be installed on each of the devices that will be used at your event.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Please ensure that third-party antivirus software is not running on any of the Speaker Ready System devices as this will impact the installation process.
To access the SRS Installer:
- Log in to Eventscribe Onsite.
- Access the Stations module.
NOTE
If you cannot access Eventscribe Onsite or do not have access to the Stations module, contact the Event Planner to gain access.
- Select the SRS Installer button (Fig. 1).
- Select Download in the pop-up that appears to download the SRS Installer (Fig. 2).
- Once you have downloaded the installer, you can use it to install Speaker Ready System on each of the devices that will be used at your event (Fig. 3).
NOTE
If you encounter a “Windows Protected your PC” pop up, select “More info” and then “Run anyway” to continue installing Speaker Ready System.
Now that Speaker Ready System is installed on each of the devices that will be used at your event, the next step is to activate the devices for your event.
IMPORTANT NOTE
When the devices are activated, the system will automatically pull the host name from that device as the identifier. Cadmium recommends updating the host names to a unique naming scheme for easy identification. Please follow these directions to change the host name for the devices prior to activating it in Eventscribe Onsite.
