- The check-in kiosks can only scan a check-in QR code to check-in an attendee and print the badge once. If an attendee, who has already checked-in and printed a badge, attempts to reprint their badge, the Cadmium Check-in App will display an error message.
Once attendees arrive at the event, they will be directed to a self-service check-in kiosk. To check-in, the attendee will use the front-facing camera on the check-in kiosk's device to scan the check-in QR code sent in the Know Before You Go message prior to the event. The Cadmium Check-in App will verify registration, check-in attendees, and the on-demand badge will print from the connected printer. Meanwhile, messages will display on the check-in kiosk device screen guiding attendees through the check-in and badge printing process.
Onsite Support and Troubleshooting
If the attendee does not have their QR code, needs to reprint their badge, or encounters an issue with the kiosk during the badge printing process, they can request help from an onsite support staff member. The staff member can assist attendees by manually checking in and printing/reprinting the badge from the Attendee Module of Eventscribe Onsite, or via the Registrant Detail page in Registration, depending on their access.
- The check-in kiosks can only scan check-in QR codes. If an attendee scans an incorrect QR code at the check-in kiosk, the kiosk app will display an error message.
- In the event of an attendee being mistakenly marked as checked-in, their status can be manually updated in Registration, by navigating to the attendee's Registrant Detail page, unchecking the Attended checkbox and selecting Save.
If you encounter any issues during the attendee check-in process, please refer to the Check-in Kiosk and App Troubleshooting Guide.
