Introduction to Check-in and Badging

Eventscribe’s Check-in and Badging solution by Cadmium offers a smooth and seamless self-service check-in and on-demand badge printing experience for event planners and attendees.

Using Registration, Event planners can design an on-demand badge for their attendees and send a preview of the badge along with a check-in QR code via a Know Before You Go message. Once onsite at the event, Check-in and Badging offers two options for attendee check-in at the event; Scanning the Check-in QR Code or Searching by Email. Both methods will allow attendees to check-in at a self-serve check-in kiosk and print their own badge with the on-demand badge printer.

This modern and efficient check-in and badging process reduces time-consuming registration queues to enter an event, requires less onsite support staff at the registration desk and simultaneously provides event planners with real-time check-in data and reports. This data can be utilized for attendee communication and advertising efforts during and after an event.

Check-in and Badging is ideal for events of any size and is highly recommended for those with large attendee totals.

Onsite Check-in Options

Scan Check-in QR Code

Attendees can scan the check-in QR code sent to them in the Know Before You Go message (LINK) at the Check-in kiosk at the event. Once the QR code is successfully scanned, the attendee’s badge will print from the on-demand printer.

Search by Email

Search by Email allows attendees to check-in to an event and print their badge by entering their email address on the Check-in kiosk rather than scanning their check-in QR code. This optional look-up method must be enabled in Registration to be visible on the check-in kiosk welcome screen.
