Improvement

Mobile App – Major Improvements to Worksheet Load Time

We've updated the underlying structure of worksheets to significantly improve performance and usability. Worksheets that previously took up to 60+ seconds to load now typically load in 2–3 seconds, with noticeable improvements even for very large worksheets (1M+ rows).  Worksheets now load in the background, allowing you to continue using other areas of the application while the request is processing.  You can also cancel the request by closing the browser if needed.  In the past, users had to wait for the request to fully complete before they could use the application again.  Please note that no changes were made to how data is saved.  Be sure to save all updates before closing the browser, and avoid opening a new event while a worksheet is loading.  (September 1, 2026)

Mobile App - 26.09.01 (iOS & Android) – Required App Update for Eventscribe and all White-Labeled Event Apps

We are releasing an updated version of the Eventscribe app this week, along with all white-labeled event apps. It brings performance and reliability improvements that make getting around your event easier, plus bug fixes and security updates.

This update covers Eventscribe and all white-labeled event apps. The update is required, and users may see a prompt to install it when opening the app.

Eventscribe will be available Thursday, September 3 at 12:00 p.m. EDT. White-label apps are released separately—your project manager will let you know when yours is ready.

To confirm the version, open the container screen where users choose their event, go to Settings, and check the number above the bottom menu bar. It should read 26.09.01.

After the new version is available, users who do not update their app may experience missing content, trouble logging in, or the app not loading. If those issues continue after updating, users should delete and reinstall the app from the App Store or Google Play. (September 2, 2026)

Survey Magnet – Duplicate User Warning When Adding or Editing Users

In support of our unique user initiative, Survey Magnet now checks for existing users when you add or edit a user. If you try to save a user who already exists for the event (matched by email address, or by Member ID for SSO-managed accounts) you'll see a message that the user already exists and the record will not save. (September 2, 2026)

Survey Magnet – Removed Unused Account Creation Settings

We've removed the Account Creation Access settings from the Survey Magnet settings area. These options no longer affected how access behaved, and removing them gives administrators a cleaner settings screen without choices that had no effect. (September 2, 2026)

Survey Magnet – Login Style Setting Separated into Individual Settings

Previously, a single Login Style setting controlled several unrelated login behaviors. We've separated it into two distinct settings: Account Creation, which controls whether and how attendees can create an account, and Site Access, which controls how users gain access to the site. Splitting these out gives administrators clearer, more granular control over login behavior. Existing configurations were carried over automatically, so there is no change to how your current surveys behave. (September 2, 2026)

Coming Soon! Website and Mobile App – Event code required for account creation 

In an upcoming release, users creating a new account on the Eventscribe website or mobile app will be required to enter an event code. This change helps ensure that only intended attendees can create an account for an event. Customers who allow account creation should add an event code to their event ahead of this release so that users are not prevented from creating accounts once the requirement takes effect. Eventscribe Registration + Education Harvester – Presenter Registration Now Reports Back to Education Harvester Automatically

Eventscribe Registration and Education Harvester now share information directly, so a presenter's identity carries through from the moment they start registering. Speakers who begin registration from an Education Harvester download task move straight into Eventscribe Registration without a separate login or lookup step.

When a presenter finishes registering, Registration automatically tells Education Harvester the task is complete and records the registration against that presenter. PresenterID and TaskID now appear as columns in the attendee report builder and on each registrant's detail page, so you can track speaker registration status without jumping between systems.

Eventscribe App – QR Code Sign-In Is Being Removed from the App

To strengthen security around signing into your event, we're removing the ability to sign in to the Eventscribe app by scanning a QR code. Signing in will continue to take the existing login credentials. Nothing changes for attendees who already sign in that way. (September 17, 2026)

Website – Account Recovery Now Enforces Unique Users

In support of our unique user initiative, the account recovery tool in Website Admin now checks for uniqueness before restoring soft-deleted accounts. If any selected account would duplicate a user already in the event's list, or if two or more of the selected accounts share the same email address, the recovery is not performed and the admin receives a message explaining why. Eventscribe Mobile App – Contact Information Removed From Profiles

We've removed email addresses and phone numbers from speaker, poster presenter, and attendee profiles, along with the Email and Add Contact buttons on those screens. Attendee profiles now show a single Chat button, which can be used for attendees to contact one another. Favoriting will continue to work from the speaker, poster presenter, and attendee lists. The Contact Details section has been removed from the Edit Profile screen in the Mobile App. (September 18, 2026)

Eventscribe Website – Contact Information Removed From Profiles

We've removed email, cell phone, and office phone from the attendee profile, along with the email from speaker and poster presenter profiles. The Contact Details section has been removed from the Edit Profile screen on the website. Attendees can share their profile and use the Chat feature to connect with other attendees directly. Fix

Scorecard – Membership Information Missing From Payment Integration Transaction Report

The Member column in the stock report wasn't showing a submitter's Membership ID, leaving the field blank for people who paid at the member rate.

The stock report now pulls in the Membership ID correctly, so the Member column displays the right value for submitters who paid at the member rate. (September 1, 2026)

Lead Capture Mobile App - version 26.09.17

A new version of the mobile app is now available in the Apple and Google Play stores.

• Required-Update Prompt on iOS
  • The prompt to update the app now appears only when a newer version is actually available. Previously it could compare the installed and published versions incorrectly, so it sometimes appeared when the app was already current, and sometimes stayed hidden when an update was waiting.
• Clearer Error When a Booth has Been Deleted
  • Trying to activate a license for a booth that no longer exists as well as a couple other error cases previously showed a blank screen with no explanation. It now shows a clear error message.
• Improved Session Handling During Extended Offline Use
  • If the app stayed offline for a long stretch and the login session expired in the meantime, restoring connectivity could sign the user out and clear leads that hadn't synced yet. The app now handles session refresh more reliably in these conditions.
• Consistent Timestamp Display
  • Timestamps on scans and notes now display the same format in both places.
• Consistent Spacing on the Lead Details Screen
  • Open-ended questions carried extra padding, and single-selection questions left extra space below the last option. Spacing between questions is now uniform across all question types.

Registration – Badge Autosize Not Applied to Components with Multiple Fields

Badge components set to autosize did not shrink text to fit when the component contained more than one field, such as a first name and last name together. Long values wrapped to an additional line and could overflow the badge, while components containing a single field autosized as expected. This issue has been resolved, and autosize now reduces text size to fit the component width regardless of how many fields it contains. (September 23, 2026)
