Lead Capture Mobile App - Log Out or Switch Licenses

LIMITED RELEASE

Lead Capture is available to select customers. If enabled for a customer account, you will be contacted by your Project Manager with more information. If available to exhibitors, you will be notified by the event organizer.

Booth staff may need to switch between Lead Capture Mobile App licenses if they are working at multiple booths during the event or may need to log out of the Lead Capture Mobile App if their current device running low on power and they need to use a different device. In these cases, it is important to ensure your valuable lead data is properly synchronized before transitioning to a different license or device.  

WARNING

If lead data is not properly synchronized before logging out or switching licenses, you risk losing unsynchronized data or accidentally overwriting information on another device.

To log out of the Lead Capture Mobile App or switch to a different license, follow these steps: 

  1. Select your account avatar in the upper right corner of the screen. 
  2. Select the Log Out or Switch Event button.
The app will automatically attempt to sync all leads before proceeding.

Verify Sync Status 

Before logging out or switching to a different license, verify that your lead data has been synchronized to the cloud by following these steps: 

  1. Navigate to the Leads list. 
  2. Look for cloud icons with a slash through them.(Replace Icon)
  • These icons indicate data that has not been synchronized to the cloud.
  1. To resolve unsynchronized leads:
  • Ensure your device is connected to the internet.
  • Pull down the Leads list to force a data sync.

Offline Access Restrictions

You must be connected to the internet to switch licenses or log out, as these actions are not permitted while offline. This restriction is in place to help prevent accidental data loss by ensuring all lead data can be properly synchronized before the transition.

Unsynchronized Data

If you log out or switch licenses after encountering a sync error, any unsynchronized data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. It's essential to resolve any sync issues before proceeding to avoid losing valuable lead information.

App Deletion Warning

Do not delete the Lead Capture Mobile App if you have unsynchronized data, as doing so will result in permanent data loss. This loss is controlled by the device’s operating system and cannot be prevented. Always ensure your data is fully synced before uninstalling the app.
