Introduction to Schedule Builder

Schedule Builder is an add-on for Education Harvester that turns your existing session data into a finished event agenda. Instead of placing each session by hand, you set the rules your schedule must follow, and Schedule Builder generates a conflict-free schedule in minutes.

How It Works

Start by setting the rules for your schedule, such as:

• Rooms and time slots
• Speakers and speaker availability
• Tracks and topics
• Session types and formats

Schedule Builder then uses those rules to build a schedule from the sessions already in Education Harvester.

Fine-Tune Your Schedule

You stay in control of the final agenda. After Schedule Builder generates a schedule, you can:

• Drag and drop sessions to adjust where and when they’re placed.
• Pin sessions whose room and time have already been decided.
• Regenerate the schedule around your pinned sessions without losing those decisions.

Approve and Publish

When you approve a schedule, Schedule Builder automatically fills in the room and time slot for each session in Education Harvester, so there’s nothing to re-enter by hand.
