Selling Lead Capture to Exhibitors

LIMITED RELEASE

Lead Capture is available to only certain customers at this time. If you are a Cadmium customer interested in using Lead Capture, please engage with your Account Manager or Project Manager to determine feasibility. If you are an exhibitor, contact your event organizer to determine the Lead Capture options for your event.

If the sales features are included in your contract, the event organizer can sell Lead Capture to exhibitors through the Lead Capture Exhibitor Portal or administratively in the Lead Capture Admin Portal.

Setup

The following settings must be configured in order for exhibitors to make purchases:

Payment Processing (must be configured by a Cadmium Staff member)
Pricing – Set your lead capture package rates and options
Receipt – Configure billing details and order summary information
Contact Information – Provide support contact details for exhibitor questions

IMPORTANT NOTE

This information is required for exhibitors to make purchases. If these settings are not configured, the booth admin will see a 'Purchasing Unavailable' banner in the Lead Capture Exhibitor Portal.

Custom, event-specific terms and policies are optional but recommended. Learn more about the Terms & Policies settings.

Exhibitor Portal Sales

In the Lead Capture Exhibitor Portal, the booth admin will see a customized experience based on their Type assigned on the Summary page by the event organizer in the administrative portal.

Licenses

If Type is License, the exhibitor will follow these steps to purchase licenses in the Lead Capture Exhibitor Portal:

Select the Purchase License button.
- The exhibitor will see the license pricing grid with active tiers.
Enter the License Quantity.
Select the Proceed to Checkout to advance to the order confirmation and checkout screen.
- The system will automatically apply the first and additional license pricing based on whether the booth has existing licenses.
Complete the payment form and select the Submit button.
- An order confirmation email will automatically be sent to the booth admin.
- Download the receipt on the Receipts page.
- View licenses on the Licenses page; it may take a few minutes for licenses to be provisioned.

Developer Kit

If Type is Developer Kit, the exhibitor will follow these steps to purchase a Developer Kit in the Lead Capture Exhibitor Portal:

Select the Purchase Developer Kit button.
- The exhibitor will see the Developer Kit pricing grid with active tiers.
In the Recipient Name field, enter the name of the company receiving the Developer Kit.
Select the Proceed to Checkout button to advance to the order confirmation and checkout screen.
Complete the payment form and select the Submit button.
- An order confirmation email will automatically be sent to the booth admin.
- Download the receipt on the Receipts page.
- View documentation and the booth's unique API Key on the Developer Kit page to share with the third-party developer; it may take a few minutes for the API Key to be provisioned.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Exhibitor self-service is the preferred purchase method since exhibitors automatically agree to all terms and policies during checkout.

Administrative Sales

Event organizers can process sales directly through the Lead Capture Admin Portal when necessary. This option is useful for:

Phone-based sales assistance
Onsite registration support
Processing purchases for exhibitors experiencing technical difficulties
Applying pricing adjustments not available through exhibitor self-service

CADMIUM RECOMMENDS

For onsite sales assistance, have the exhibitor enter their information and execute the purchase themselves at the support desk whenever possible since exhibitors automatically agree to all terms and policies during checkout.

Licenses

To administratively sell licenses:

Go to the Licenses page.
Select the Add License(s) button.
Select Paid License from the dropdown.
Select a Company/Booth. Note, only booths with the Type of 'License' on the Summary page will display in the dropdown.
Enter a quantity for the pricing you wish to apply to the order.
Select the Continue button to proceed to the order confirmation and checkout screen.
Complete the payment form and select the Submit button.

- An order confirmation email will automatically be sent to the booth admin.
- Access the receipt on the Receipts page.
- View licenses on the Licenses page; it may take a few minutes for licenses to be provisioned.

Developer Kit

To administratively sell a Developer Kit:

Go to the Developer Kits page.
Select the Add Developer Kit button.
Select Paid Dev Kit from the dropdown.
Select a Company/Booth. Note, only booths with the Type of 'Developer Kit' on the Summary page will display in the dropdown.
In the Recipient Name field (optional), enter the name of the company the exhibitor is giving the Developer Kit to.
Select the Price.
Select the Continue button to proceed to the order confirmation and checkout screen.
Complete the payment form and select the Submit button.
- An order confirmation email will automatically be sent to the booth admin.
- Access the receipt on the Receipts page.
- View the booth's unique API Key on the Developer Kits page; it may take a few minutes for the API Key to be provisioned.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The event organizer has full pricing flexibility in the Lead Capture Admin Portal. All pricing tiers are available for selection, including expired tiers, and both first and additional license options can be applied regardless of the booth's previous purchases.
