Edit the Event Information

Within the General tab of the Settings module, you will notice there is a sub-tab titled Event Information.  Here, you will find key information settings such as event title, time zone, and event city.  Originally, this information will be configured via completion of the missions.  However, if you need to edit this information, you will do so in the Event Information tab.

Event Information Tab

The information that is displayed in the Event Information tab serves as a reference while building and administering your App.  It is essential that it is filled out accurately and fully to ensure your App is configured properly.

Event Name

The event name is displayed to the user when they are viewing event details.  Additionally, you will be able to use this name to differentiate this event from your others.

Time Zone

The location of the event should be added here.  The app will use this time to determine time related data such as the time this event should be added into user’s calendars.

Event Website

The URL of your organization’s website.

Event Start Date and Event End Date

Enter the dates that will encompass your event or conference.

Event Building

Enter the building for your event or conference.

Event City

Enter the city for your event or conference.

Event State/Province

Enter the state/province for your event or conference.

Expected Number of Attendees

The expected number of attendees that will be using the app.  This aids Cadmium in guiding you through the correct setup process and making the most out of the functionality of your mobile app.  Some of the setup choices that are made will differ based upon the number of attendees.

Speaker Ready Room Type

This is where you can indicate what type of speaker ready room will be at your event.  The information in this setting will not appear anywhere within the app, and will not affect any of the functions in the app.
