Eventscribe Release Notes

June 2024

This month’s release includes product enhancements and essential bug fixes.

Included in this release:

myCadmium

EdgeReg

Survey Magnet

myCadmium: myCadmium Account Email Updates

To increase the security of our myCadmium user accounts, the universal profile for a myCadmium user will transition to be unique for each user based on email address. Because of this, myCadmium users will no longer be able to edit their email addresses and users are encouraged to create a new account if they want to use a different email address.

EdgeReg: Unpaid Status now displays on top of Registrant Detail

The Registrant Detail screen has been updated to display UNPAID in red text at the top right for any registrations that have an unpaid balance in their Transaction History. For those who use the Check in & Print Badge button on the Registrant Detail page, this update will help them avoid manually printing badges for unpaid onsite attendees.

EdgeReg: TwitterHandle Updated to X Username

The prompt and name for the Extended RFI X (formerly Twitter) profile field has been updated from “Twitter Handle” to “X Username”.

Survey Magnet: Credit Rounding for Individual Sessions

We identified an issue where the credit table values on the certificate were rounding up. The issue only affected sessions with credit values extending to three or four decimal places. For example, sessions with 0.075 credits appeared as 0.08 credits while other sessions with a credit value of 0.15 appeared correctly as 0.15 on the certificate.

The setting "Decimal Places for Total Credits" has been updated to apply to individual session credits in the credit table as well as the total number of credits.
