Setting Up Advanced Membership Mapping

The Advanced Membership Map is a feature that evaluates a member based on rules, and assigns that user to a Jumbo Package or Promotion Code based on the first matching rule. Each "Mapping" of a specific membership status and/or level gets assigned to a specific registration fee promo code, a jumbo package, or no registration if they should be unable to proceed. Advanced membership mapping must be used if jumbo packages are being utilized.

If you would like to use Advanced Membership Mapping, please contact your Project Manager who can enable this feature for you.

Creating a Membership Map

  1. Navigate to the Fee Schedule page from the Control Center.
  2. Select Advanced Membership Map at the bottom of the page.
  3. Click the Add New Mapping button.
  4. Select a Category and Level, if appropriate. Then select a Status and Assignment Type.
  5. Click Create.
  6. The order of the rules will be the order in which they are evaluated. Mappings are evaluated hierarchically based on Category then Level then Status.
  7. To adjust the order of the rules you can drag and drop using the handle on the far left side.
  8. Once complete, you can test your mapping using the Test Lookup button at the top of the page. This will allow you to search by a specific email address or by a membership level to confirmation that it validated correctly.

Jumbo Packages

  • A Jumbo Package is an advanced feature that allows for companies to be allotted certain quantities of different fees based on various criteria, such as their Membership Level or Membership Category.
  • Jumbo packages can be created using both Registration Fee tiers as well as Option Fee tiers.
  • Use case example: A platinum sponsor receives 5 included registration that are complimentary, and 3 additional registrations that cost $100. A gold sponsor receives 3 included registration that are complimentary, and 3 additional registrations that cost $100.
