This month we are excited to announce the release of the Email Lookup feature in Check-in and Badging. This month’s release also includes several product enhancements and essential bug fixes.

Registration - Email Lookup method available in Check-in and Badging
An additional option for attendees to check-in to an event and print their badge by looking up their email address has been added to Check-in and Badging in the Check-in App. This addition will allow attendees to check in and print their badge onsite via the Check-in App by searching for their email address. Enabling this lookup method is optional and adds the “Search by Email” option to the Check-in app welcome screen.

Registration - Cadmium Check-in app rebranded to Eventscribe Check-in
As part of Cadmium’s rebranding efforts, the Check-in app for Check-in and Badging has been renamed to Eventscribe Check-in in both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The app icon has also been updated.
Registration - Membership sub-categories displaying in Attendee Custom Reports
When the “Show Membership Category Information” setting was enabled in Attendee Custom Reports, the Sub-Category column was displaying Category information instead of Sub-Categories. Now, when this setting is enabled, the membership sub-categories are now displayed correctly in custom reports.
Registration - Optimized the Weekly Summary by Fee Section Report
Improvements have been made to the Weekly Summary by Fee Section report to resolve time-out issues with larger reports. This report will now be downloaded within 10 seconds.
Registration – All registrants will now immediately display on the Attendee list in Eventscribe Onsite
When creating new registrations within Registration, the system was sometimes failing to create internal IDs which are needed for the registration to be visible within the Attendee list for Check-in and Badging in Eventscribe Onsite. This caused a delay in some registrations displaying in Onsite. An update has been made so that these internal IDs are always created when new registration are created, resolving any syncing issues between Registration and Onsite.
Scorecard – Fixed session creation errors when accessing Scorecard
Intermittently, the application's user session management code generated invalid session keys that were incompatible with the underlying data store format, leading to application errors. A new key generation system was implemented that will never generate a key which is incompatible with the data store format.
Education Harvester – Fixed a syncing issue when presenters were updated via the Presenter Management Task
When updating presenter information in the Presenter Management task in Education Harvester, it would not sync the updates to the Website and Mobile App as expected. Now, when presenters are added, edited, or removed from the Presenter Management task, the updated data will sync to the Website and Mobile app and the data will be up to date.
Logistics – Fixed an error when mass Creating Function Types from Session Names
When users were mass creating function types based on the session name, there was an issue with function types being created from a session name that had a comma in it. This issue has been resolved and session names with a comma in it will now create a function type using the create multiple function type tool.
