Service Listing 17 - Custom Reports

A 'Custom report' is defined as any export of data in any defined format that cannot be accomplished by the Customer using the standard tools within the Eventscribe products, including stock reports and worksheets.  It requires custom work by either a programmer or a Cadmium product expert.

  • A Custom Report is considered 'New' if it has not been previously created, being re-created in a different module, or requires substantial revisions including output type, additional data, or data manipulation.
  • A Custom Report is considered a 'Revision' if it can be cloned from a different event, and requires only minor adjustments to format, selection criteria, sort order, or data point selection.

Service Activities

The following Cadmium provided service activities are included with the purchase of either a New Custom Report or a Revision of a Custom Report.

  1. Requirements Definition
  2. Production of Report
  3. Revisions

Service activities begin upon Customer request via the Cadmium ticketing system but cannot occur prior to data being present in the respective product module used as a source for reporting.

Services not listed are outside the scope of this agreement.

Service Activity Descriptions

Activity 1: Requirements Definition

This activity is to gather business use requirements from the Customer.  If needed, Cadmium will conduct a call (typically 60 minutes or less) to determine exact needs for the report.  Requirements will include the following details, at a minimum:

  • Cadmium Product used as source of data.
  • Output type (e.g., MS Excel or MS Word)
  • Data points needed (using Cadmium’s field names as they appear in the product interface)
  • Selection, or filtering, criteria
  • Sort order(s)
  • Formatting requirements (e.g., Speaker block labels, superscripts/subscripts, etc.)

The completion of this activity is dependent on the Customer communicating what's needed.  It is extremely helpful to have an example of the desired output provided as part of the requirements definition.

Activity 2: Production of Report

Cadmium will generate the requested report using the requirements gathered and will provide instructions for generating the report to the Customer.  This activity includes testing and quality assurance conducted by Cadmium to ensure that the defined requirements have been met.  It is the responsibility of the Customer to carefully review output to confirm requirements have been met.  Revision requests must be communicated to Cadmium via Cadmium's ticketing system within seven (7) business days.  Following the seven-day review period, Custom Reports will be considered complete, and changes requested later may incur an additional charge.

Activity 3: Revisions

Upon request by the Customer, an existing report will be revised to meet requirements provided by the Customer.

Rush Delivery

The standard delivery time for Custom Reports is twelve (12) weeks.  With the purchase of this option, Cadmium will escalate the priority of the effort, allocate required resources, and provide an abbreviated delivery schedule with all the above-listed activities to be completed within two (2) weeks.  The delivery timeline is dependent on timely responses from the Customer and may be adjusted if delays in Customer responses are experienced.
