When logging in through Cadmium Identity for the first time, one of two things may happen after you enter your email address, depending on how the application is configured.
- You may see an “Account Not Found” message withoutthe option to create an account.
- In this case, you must use the email address that received the original invitation.
- If you are unsure which email address was used, contact your site administrator — this is typically the person who invited you to log in.
OR
- You may see an “Account Not Found” message with the option to Create Account.
- If this option appears, you can proceed with creating your account by following the steps below.
Step 1: Enter Your Email Address
- Navigate to your unique login URL.
- Enter your email address.
- Select Continue.
Step 2: Create an Account
In some cases, the application may have already created an initial account for you. If so, you will skip this step and automatically proceed to Step 3.
- Select Create Account.
- Enter your first and last name.
- Check the “I’m not a robot” box.
- Complete the reCAPTCHA challenge.
- Select Continue.
Step 3: Verify Your Email Address
A verification email will be sent from noreply@gocadmium.com. Click the link in the email to proceed.
- Delivery may take a few minutes.
- The verification link expires after 24 hours.
If you do not receive the email:
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Contact your IT department to allow emails from noreply@gocadmium.com.
Step 4: Create a Password
Your password must include at least:
- 12 characters
- 1 uppercase letter
- 1 number
- 1 special character
Security requirements:
- Password must be reset every 90 days.
- You cannot reuse your last4 passwords.
Select the eye icon to preview your password before saving.
For optimal security:
- Don’t reuse passwords from other accounts.
- Don’t use your email or a previously used password.
- Choose a random password without personal information.
- Longer passwords are stronger.
- Use unrelated words or a password generated by a password manager.
Step 5: Proceed to the Application
On desktop, after creating your password, you will be automatically redirected to the application. When using a native mobile app, you will be prompted to log in after creating your password.
