Function Types are the types of items you are scheduling, i.e. Board Meetings, Workshops, and Learning Labs. When using the Presentation Scheduler tool, Function Types can help quickly determine what time and in what location certain blocks of presentations need to be scheduled.
To add a Function Type, navigate to the Functions page. Select the "PAGES" button, then select "Function Types" from the drop down menu (Fig. 1).

Select the "ADD FUNCTION TYPE" button toward the upper left-hand corner of the page.

In the next pop-up, select "Create Single Function Type" (Fig. 3).

Within the pop-up window, enter the label and duration for the Function Type, in minutes. The description for the Function Type is optional. Additionally, choose a background color and text color for the Function Type. Then, select the "ADD TYPE" button (Fig. 4).

On the Drag and Drop Calendar, these colors will be used to differentiate the different Function Types on the calendar view (Fig. 5).

Continue adding Function Types by repeating the previous steps. After all Function Types have been created, you will be able to assign Function Types within the function editor, and use the Mass Create Functions tool.
