- Room Name - The label used to identify the room throughout the system.
- Default Layout - The layout that the room will be given when one is not selected. If there are no layouts are listed, please see the Add New Room Layouts article.
- Default Capacity - The amount of people that the default layout can hold.
- Building - The location of the room selected. If no buildings are listed, please see the Add New Buildings article.
- Level - Within the building selected, the level the room is located.
- Parent Room - A larger room that shares the same space, e.g a Ballroom can be the parent room of Ballroom A and Ballroom B. Please note that the parent room must first be added to the system.
- Description - Text used to describe the room.
To add a room, first make sure that you are within the "Setup" module located on the main navigation bar of Logistics. Then, select the "ADD ROOM" button toward the upper left-hand corner to continue (Fig. 1).

Within the "General" left-hand navigation panel, enter any known information.

To add additional layouts for this room, select "Layouts" from the left-hand navigation panel. In order to add additional layouts for the room, these layouts must first be added to the system.

Then, select the blue "ADD ROOM" button to continue. You will receive a toast message confirming the room was successfully added (Fig. 4).
