Changing the Developer Kit API Key Status

LIMITED RELEASE

Lead Capture is available to only certain customers at this time.  If you are a Cadmium customer interested in using Lead Capture, please engage with your Account Manager or Project Manager to determine feasibility.  If you are an exhibitor, contact your event organizer to determine the Lead Capture options for your event.

An event organizer can enable or disable an API key after an exhibitor has purchased a Developer Kit. This might be necessary for security reasons, payment issues, or when exhibitor participation changes.

When an API key is disabled:

  • It will immediately stop working.
  • The exhibitor will no longer be able to pull attendee data from the API.
  • An alert banner will appear in the exhibitor’s Lead Capture Exhibitor Portal notifying them of the change.

To change the status of an API key, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Developer Kits tab within the Lead Capture Admin Portal.
  2. Select the company/booth record.
  3. Select the Change Status button.
