Changing the Developer Kit API Key Status

LIMITED RELEASE

Lead Capture is available to select customers.  If enabled for a customer account, you will be contacted by your Project Manager with more information.  If available to exhibitors, you will be notified by the event organizer.

Administrators can enable or disable Developer Kit API access after an exhibitor has purchased a key. This might be necessary for security reasons, payment issues, or when exhibitor participation changes.

When a Developer Kit API Key is disabled:

  • It will immediately stop working.
  • The exhibitor will no longer be able to pull attendee data from the API.
  • An alert banner will appear in the exhibitor’s Lead Capture Exhibitor Portal notifying them of the change.

To change the status of an exhibitor’s API key, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Developer Kit tab within the Lead Capture Admin Portal.
  2. Select the company/booth record.
  3. Select the Change Status button.
