An event organizer can manually add a Developer Kit for booths without requiring payment. A Developer Kit can be added individually or for multiple booths at once. A booth can only have one Developer Kit.
Adding a Developer Kit for a Single Booth
To add a Developer Kit for a single booth without collecting payment, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Developer Kits page in the Lead Capture Admin Portal.
- Select the Add Developer Kit button.
- Select Admin Dev Kit - $0 from the dropdown menu.
- Complete the form.
- Select the Company/Booth.
- Only records with a type of 'Developer Kit' that don't already have a Developer Kit will appear in the dropdown.
- Enter the name of the company the exhibitor is giving the Developer Kit to in the Recipient Name field.
- Provide a reason for adding the Developer Kit at no charge.
- Select the Save button.
- Once saved, the Developer Kit will appear in the table on the Developer Kits page.
- Select the Company/Booth.
Adding a Developer Kit for Multiple Booths
To add a Developer Kit for multiple booths without collecting payment, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Summary page in the Lead Capture Admin Portal.
- Use the checkboxes to select one or more records with a type of 'Developer Kit' that don't already have a Developer Kit assigned.
- Select the Add Developer Kits button.
- Complete the form.
- Provide a reason for adding the Developer Kit(s) at no charge.
- Select the Save button.
- Once saved, the Developer Kit(s) will appear in the table on the Developer Kits page.
IMPORTANT NOTE
When emailing an API Key to an exhibitor, we strongly recommend using a secure password sharing service; there are free options available such as Onetime Secret. Be sure to include a link to the Developer Kit API documentation in your email.
