Overview of the Review Module

The Review Module in Education Harvester is designed to facilitate peer review of presentation materials based on criteria set by the administrator. The Review Module allows administrators to assign reviewers to evaluate uploaded presentation data. Reviewers complete evaluations based on custom criteria set within a reviewer-only task in the Education Harvester.

Typical Workflow

1. Speakers upload presentation materials to the Education Harvester.
2. Administrators assign reviewers to individual presentations.
3. Reviewers access presentations through their assigned task and respond to evaluation questions.
4. Reviewers may also:
   • Provide an overall recommendation or status.
   • Recuse themselves if a conflict of interest exists.
   • Communicate with speakers and/or fellow reviewers via comments or messages.

Communication Options

• Reviewer-to-Speaker Messaging: Enables direct communication from reviewers to speakers.
• Reviewer Comments: Allows reviewers to leave comments visible to other assigned reviewers.
• Automated Emails: Can be configured to send updates or reminders to reviewers.
