Lead Capture Lead & Scan Data Reports

LIMITED RELEASE

Lead Capture is available to only certain customers at this time.  If you are a Cadmium customer interested in using Lead Capture, please engage with your Account Manager or Project Manager to determine feasibility.  If you are an exhibitor, contact your event organizer to determine the Lead Capture options for your event.

The Lead Capture Exhibitor Portal provides valuable reporting that gives exhibitors instant access to their captured lead data. All reports update in real-time as data synchronizes to the cloud.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The scanning device must be online for data to sync to the cloud and appear in reports.

Leads Report

The Leads report contains one row per lead and includes the attendee's registration profile information and the lead details collected by the booth staff person. A profile field will show as blank in the report if the attendee did not provide the information on their registration form.

Scans Report

The Scans report contains one row per scan and includes the attendee's registration profile information, the lead details collected by the booth staff person, and the scan and sync dates and times. Leads scanned more than once will appear multiple times in the report.

The following scan data is included in the report:

  • Scan Date: Date the scan was captured and saved to the user's device (displayed in MM/DD/YYYY format)
  • Scan Time: Time the scan was captured and saved to the user's device (displayed in the event time zone)
  • Last Sync Date: Date the scan was last synchronized to the cloud (displayed in MM/DD/YYYY format)
  • Last Sync Time: Time the scan was last synchronized to the cloud (displayed in the event time zone)

Lead Capture provides accurate time zone handling to ensure your reports display meaningful timestamps for your event analysis by recording complete time zone information with every scan using the ISO 8601 international standard, which includes the date, time, and time zone offset (like "-07:00" for Pacific time or "+05:00" for Eastern time). All scan times in your reports are automatically converted and displayed in your event's designated time zone, giving you consistent and relevant timestamps regardless of where scanning occurs.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Scan times depend on the user’s device settings and may not always be accurate, as the Lead Capture Mobile App cannot control device configurations. Common causes of time inaccuracies include devices set to the wrong time zone, disabled location services, incorrect device clocks, network connectivity issues, or VPN usage affecting location detection. For more reliable timestamps during specific time windows, ensure your device is online and reference the “Last Sync Time” instead of “Scan Time,” as sync times are recorded by our servers and do not rely on the device.
