Add a New Resource Type

Logistics allow you to add Resource Types, Resources, and Bundled Resources.  Resource Types are used to define the overarching categories of your individual resource items. The Resource Types will help you group like-items together and can assist when assigning Resources to Functions.  You are able to copy Resources and Resource Types from a previous Logistics. These three features are ONLY available to Standard Level Logistics.

Add New Resource Types

To add Resource Types, navigate to the "Setup" page located on the main navigation bar of Logistics.  Then, select the "PAGES" button and select "Resource Types" from the drop down menu (Fig. 1).

Next, select the "NEW RESOURCE TYPE" button toward the upper left-hand corner to continue.  Enter the type and description.  Then, select the "ADD" button to continue (Fig. 2).
