- Navigate to the Reviews module.
- Select Tools and then Review Decisions.
To allow reviewers to make a Reviewer Recommendation while scoring their assigned submissions, you must first create Custom Review Decisions. To set Custom Review Decisions, follow these steps:
- The default Review Decisions will display.

For guidance on adding, editing, or deleting Review Decisions, refer to the Help Tips on the Review Decisions page.
Once the Review Decisions are finalized,
- Navigate to the Settings module.
- Expand the Review Site tab in the left-hand navigation panel and select Recommendations under the Review Scorecard tab.
- Ensure Collect Recommendations is set to Yes.
- Adjust the recommendation label if needed—we recommend Reviewer Recommendation to avoid confusion.
- Update the recommendation dropdown with any newly added Custom Review Decisions.
- Select Save Changes.
IMPORTANT NOTE
A Reviewer Recommendation is not the final decision for the submission. Scorecard administrators are responsible for making the final decision for all submissions in the Scorecard.
