We recommend sharing this with your System Operator for the Speaker Ready System.
The Speaker Ready System is designed to allow speakers to launch their own presentations in their session room without any additional support. To do this, the speaker will navigate through 3 straightforward screens:
Date Selection Screen
The Date Selection screen is the Podium device landing page (Fig. 1). The name of the room will be displayed at the top of this screen. It will also display a list of all the dates that have sessions scheduled in the session room.

NOTE
If a date does not show in this list, please confirm if there are sessions scheduled in this room on this date in the Education Harvester. If there are no sessions scheduled in that room on that date, it will not display in the list.
Session Selection Screen
After selecting the date, the Session Selection screen will show all sessions scheduled in the session room on that day (Fig. 1). The list of sessions will be shown in the order they appear in the schedule with the current Session focused on the screen.

NOTE
If you don't see a session that you are expecting in this list, check to make sure the session has a speaker and room assigned in Education Harvester or consult our troubleshooting guide.
Presentation Launch Screen
Once the session is selected, the Presentation Launch screen will display (Fig. 3). From this screen, the speaker will use the Present Now button which will launch their presentation in Presenter View. Once the speaker is finished with their presentation, they can navigate to the next session by using the next button.

To set your speakers up for success, we recommend doing the following at the start of each day of your event:
- Confirm the session room name that displays on the Date Selection screen matches the room that the Podium is set up in.
- Print the Speaker Ready System Podium Guide and place one near the Podium device in the session rooms.
- Navigate to the Presentation Launch screen for the first session of the day.
