Registration: Overlapping session errors when saving in Self Service no longer cause edits to be cleared
When registrants selected overlapping sessions in Self Service, an error message displayed and cleared the selections and other edits made to the registrant record. Now, when a registrant selects an overlapping session in Self Service, the error message will still appear, but the selections and the other edits made to the registrant record will not be removed. This will allow the user to correct the overlapping session selects and continue to save.
Registration: Table Tents Error Resolved
The Table Tent report in Registration displayed an error message for all events. An update was made to resolve this issue and table tents are now generating successfully.
Registration: Amount Purchased column within Attendee Custom Reports now correctly reflects the total amount purchased for the registrant
When the “Amount Purchased” column is enabled in an Attendee Custom Report, the column was calculating the total incorrectly when multiples of the same line item were purchased. Now, the report displays the total amount purchased for that registrant correctly and it will display the total when multiples of the same line item are selected.
NOTE
This report should not be used as a reconciliation report.
Registration: Twitter and Facebook Share buttons and settings have been updated
The Social Media Share buttons for Twitter and Facebook have been updated to reflect the newest logos and Twitter’s change to X (Fig. 1). The mail merge tag used for X for sharing has also been updated to <# X Share #> (Fig. 2).

Registration: Linked Fees now correctly populate with multiple quantities
If a quantity of more than one of an option fee with a linked fee was purchased, the linked fee defaulted to display on the Purchase Summary as only 1 fee, regardless of the number of the line item purchased. Now, it will automatically include the corresponding number of linked fees in the Purchase Summary when completing registration in step-based registration.
Registration: Optimization to the Registration Contact List and Attendee Custom Reports
Improvements have been made to the Registration Contact List and Attendee Custom Reports to resolve timeout issues with larger reports. To improve download speed, if the column count is more than 150 AND row count is more than 3000 OR if the row count is more than 5000, the reports will display all columns without auto-sizing.
Eventscribe Onsite: NEW! Dashboard Widgets
Eventscribe Onsite’s Dashboard now displays module widgets for Kiosks and Attendees, the two modules associated with Check-in and Badging (Fig. 3). These widgets allow onsite staff to quickly view the number of attendees that have checked in vs the total number registered, as well as the status of the kiosks in use for checking in. Onsite users with access to the corresponding modules will automatically have access to these widgets.

Scorecard: New Submitter and New Submission Email setting not respected
In the Scorecard, there is a setting titled ‘Receive new submitter/submission emails’ that users can set to yes or no. We identified an issue with the setting where emails were still sent to new submitters and when submitters created new submissions regardless of if the setting was set to yes or no. This issue has been resolved and the emails are only sent when the setting is set to yes.
Scorecard: Countdown timer text displays when using Detailed Countdown Timer
In the Scorecard, users can choose between a simple countdown timer and a detailed countdown timer. When the detailed countdown timer was selected, the text that was entered in the field Simple Countdown Timer Text was supposed to show when the user hovered over the detailed countdown timer. We have restored and improved this functionality. Now, when a user selects ‘yes’ to ' Detailed Countdown Timer?' and they have text entered in the ‘Simple Countdown Timer Text,' they will see the text to the right of the countdown timer (Fig. 4). If the text is too long, it will ellipse the remainder of the text. The full text can be viewed by hovering over the visible text.

Website: Agenda Page Performance Enhancement
We have made a significant update to the Agenda Page to enhance its efficiency and speed. For clients with large amounts of data, the page used to take 30 to 60 seconds to load. With this update, it now loads in 3 seconds.
Mobile App: iOS/Android: Improved Performance for My Schedule Feature
Events with extensive data caused the My Schedule feature to load slowly, leading users to believe the app was unresponsive. A loading icon has been added to indicate when My Schedule data is being loaded, providing users with visual feedback during the process. Additionally, the My Schedule view now defaults to the current day of the event. If there are presentations scheduled outside the event dates, those days will also display in the schedule, along with the event dates.
Mobile App: iOS/Android: User Access Control Updates when user’s level switch
We identified an issue where 'App User Data - Access Control' settings for Basic, Standard and Premium accounts were not being correctly applied after a user's level was switched. The app updates this data every 60 minutes, which aligns with the cache expiration timing. As a result, changes may take up to one to two hours to be fully reflected, depending on when the request is made.
Mobile App: Android & iOS: Push Notifications for Boost Group Users appear correctly
Push notifications sent to Boost group users did not appear on the device, even when device settings allowed notifications. Notifications were only being received within the event app. With this fix, push notifications will now appear as pop-ups on both Android and iOS devices, not just within the app's message location. This ensures that users receive notifications directly on their device systems as intended.
Mobile App: iOS/Android: “Remove Cached Event Content” Container Button has been added
The mobile app can store all previously downloaded slides from past events, which may cause the app data size to become large and impact app performance. To address this, a "Remove Cached Event Content" button has been added at the container level of the app. When selected, this will remove the downloaded slides for events that have already occurred, while keeping the slides for current or upcoming events intact. We have seen significant improvement in the mobile app performance after using this button.
Mobile App: Android: Rotating adView Tiles update dynamically as expected
When a user navigated away from the main screen (e.g., by going into another tile or reopening the app), the adView rotating tile image did not change. It only updated when the app refreshed. adView tiles now correctly change when users navigate away from the main screen and return. This ensures the rotating tile images update dynamically as expected.
Mobile App: Android: Users Able to Share/Email Posters
When attendees using an Android device emailed a poster from the mobile app, the image of the poster was not included in the email. An update has been made to ensure posters are exported as attachments which will be sent via email on Android devices, while still respecting embargo properties.
Mobile App: Android: Poster Presenter Photo and Bios settings functioning as expected
When "Show Presenter Photos" was set to No, poster presenter photos still appeared in the app. Similarly, when "Show Presenter Bios" was set to No, poster presenter bios still displayed. An update was made to ensure that when "Show Presenter Photos" and "Show Presenter Bios" are set to No, both the photos and bios of poster presenters do not appear in the app.
Mobile App: Android: Correctly displays the Abstract based on the Abstract Embargo Settings
An issue where Abstracts were visible on Android devices despite the embargo date has been resolved. The app now correctly adheres to the embargo settings and displays or hides abstracts based on the specified date and time.
Mobile App: Android: Updated Image Library
The Image Library has been updated in the Android App. This allows the images to be loaded much more efficiently, allowing for a better and quicker user experience.
Mobile App: Android: App Startup Screen Correctly shows all tutorial screens
An issue was identified where only the first tutorial screen was displayed. This issue has been resolved and the app now correctly fetches and displays all three tutorial screens for tutorial images to the users upon accessing the app.
Mobile App: Android: Browse by Poster Presenters Will Show all Non-Primary Presenters
The "Browse by Poster Presenter" feature would only display posters for presenters with the "Chair and Presenter" role and would not include non-primary presenters. Additionally, searching by presenter last name only showed posters where that presenter was the primary presenter. The code has been updated to correct the issue. The query now includes all roles (presenter, chair, and non-primary presenters) from the poster presenter data table, and the search functionality correctly filters posters based on the provided search text, ensuring comprehensive search results.
Mobile App: iOS: Speakers with Multiple Roles will display all roles as expected
When a speaker is assigned more than one role in Education Harvester, the speaker would show multiple times on the iOS app the, but with the same role. Now, the iOS displays the speaker with their correct roles.
Mobile App: iOS: Scavenger Hunt Questions no longer cutoff on screen
When scanning a QR code, some of the scavenger hunt questions were cut off to the right. An update was made to adjust the width constraints of the label displaying the text to prevent cut-off. This change ensures that varying text lengths are accommodated without wrapping beyond the visible area.
Mobile App: iOS: Removed Sponsored Presentation Logos Still Displaying in Presentation
When a sponsor was removed from a presentation in the Education Harvester, the logo was not removed from the presentation in the app on iOS devices. The app has been updated to ensure that removed sponsor logos no longer display after the zips have been refreshed. This update ensures that the app accurately reflects the current sponsorships by removing logos from presentations when sponsors are removed.
Mobile App: iOS: Browse by Poster Presenter Action Respects Build Code Filter
The "Browse by Presenter" action (Action 24) for posters was disregarding the build code filter and displaying all presenters instead of filtering by the poster build code. We have updated the filter logic, which has resolved the issue. Now, the app will correctly filter poster presenters based on the poster build code, ensuring only relevant presenters are shown in the list. Please note that filtering by poster build code may take additional time to process.
