Troubleshooting

Here are a number of troubleshooting items and errors that you make get and their resolutions. 

  • When you are testing the finished registration site, be sure that you are logged out of the EdgeReg site on the admin side, or testing in a different browser. If you are logged in, you bypass the filters that may have been set on the site and you will be able to see comments and fields that the user would not be able to see.
  • When canceling a registration and refunding a credit card (with the Authorize.Net credit card processor), you may get "Error 54". You must wait until the next day to do the cancellation and refund. Authorize.Net does not allow refunds until the original transaction has been processed, which usually happens around midnight on the day of the purchase.
  • Credit Card Reconciliation error - When running the "Credit Card Reconciliation" report, make sure that you have selected at least one credit card type.
  • Forgot your Password? - You can use the "Forgot Password?" link under the login fields on the login page to retrieve your password:https://www.edgereg.net/er/General/ForgotPassword.jsp If you attempted with the wrong password more than 3 times and the system is asking you to contact your system administrator, completely close the browser and restart to clear your cache.
