Cancel A Registration

  1. Select Fast Search - This Meeting Only from the quick links menu on the left.
  2. Enter at least the first two letters of the registrant's last name and click Select.
  3. Select the (B) next to the registrant's name to get to the Transaction History page of their record. 
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Cancel.
  5. Leave the purchased item(s) you wish to cancel checked. Uncheck anything that should not be cancelled.
  6. If the registrant paid by credit card, and you wish to refund them immediately, leave Refund by Credit Card Now checked.
  7. If applicable, select the refund penalty that you would like to apply.
  8. Check Send Cancellation EMail if you would like to notify the registrant of the cancellation. If checked, they'll receive the "Cancellation (HTML)" message set up on the Meeting Wizard > Messages page.
  9. Select Cancel Checked Item(s) to complete the process.

NOTE 

  1. Some payment gateways do not allow for same-day credit card refunds. If the registration occurred today, you may need to wait until tomorrow to process the cancellation and refund.
  2. If the registrant did not pay by credit card, you will need to manually refund them through a different method (cash, check, wire transfer, etc. ), then use "Add Transaction" to note the refund processed and update the registrant's balance.
