Upload a registration list

Did You Know You Can Import Registrations?

Even though online forms are an invaluable tool for processing event registrations, there may be times where it is more effective to load your registrants offline. Do you have a list of your event staff or volunteers? Do you keep a spreadsheet of your speakers and VIP attendees? It’s not necessary to have them go through your online registration form, and there is no need for you to spend time entering each of them individually offline. Instead, you can upload an entire list using our Import Registrations tool to process multiple registrations at once.

How to Import Registrations:

  1. Select “Offline Multipage” under the “Registration” header.
  2. Click on the “Import Registrations” link at the bottom of the page.
  3. Download the example CSV file at the top of the Import Registrations page to see how to properly format your data for uploading.
  4. As you edit the CSV file, please keep the following information in mind:
    1. You can delete the example row, but you should leave the column headers.
    2. Ordering does not matter
    3. You can remove columns that are not used
    4. Each row must contain the Fee Item ID for the fee that is being uploaded. You can run the fee item report on the bottom of the fee schedule to get the id's for each registration fee.
    5. Be sure to include an “x” in the “FILLER” column for each row. The filler column should be the last column.
    6. You can have multiple columns for UDF, Program Session and Option Fee.
  5. Once your CSV file is ready, go back to the Import Registrations page, enter the email address that should receive a notification when the upload is complete. You can also check the checkbox if you would like loaded registrants to receive a confirmation message and if you would like the system to only add records for those whose email addresses have not yet been registered.
  6. After you’ve selected upload, you will be taken to a preview page where you can click “Accept” to confirm that all of the data has been entered correctly.
