Offline Registrations

Offline Registration allows you to enter a single registration into the EdgeReg system and database so that it can be reported on and badges created for it, just like those that were entered by the registrant themselves through the online form.

  1. From the Control Center, select "Offline Registration".
  2. The Offline Registration form allows you to "Search by Name" at the top of the form. Search for the name. If the person has attended previous events, or if you are using the Membership module and they have a member record, you can click the "Load Offline" link for that person's record. This will prepopulate the Offline Registration form with their basic contact information. If they do not have a previous record in the system, you can simply type in their information into the registration fields.
  3. Select the Meeting Registration rate appropriate for their registration. When entering registrations through the "Offline Registration" form, you have access to all fees in the system, even if it is past their Good Until date.
  4. "Send Confirmation" is checked by default, but can be unchecked if you do not want a confirmation email to be sent from the system.
  5. Select the Registration Method.
  6. Select the Payment Method. Depending on the method selected, you may be required to enter additional information.
    • Credit Card - Will send you to the Credit Card payment fields on the next page and process the credit card immediately. The record will be marked as PAID.
    • Check - Will require that you enter the check number above. Use only if you have actually received the check. The record will be marked as PAID.
    • Cash - Use if you received a cash payment. The record will be marked as PAID.
    • Money Order - Use if you have received a money order. The record will be marked as PAID.
    • Pay Later - Use if you are allowing registrations to be completed now, and then payment provided at a later date. The record will be marked as UNPAID.
    • Manual Credit Card - Use if you have already applied the registration charge to the registrants credit card, using a card swipe machine or the credit card processors online terminal. No credit card information will be entered through EdgeReg. The record will be marked as PAID.
    • Complimentary - Can ONLY be used if the fee items selected above total $0. The record will be marked as PAID.
    • Purchase Order - Will require that you enter a Purchase Order number above. The record will be marked as UNPAID.
    • Wire Transfer - Will require that you enter the wire transfer number in the "Check Number" above. Use only if you have actually received the transfer to your back account. The record will be marked as PAID.
  7. Click "Register" to complete the registration.
