EdgeReg offers the ability to set up a waiting list feature that allows you to collect the names of people who are interested in attending your event after the registration capacity has been reached.
To turn it on, go to Meeting Wizard/Registration/More Settings. Scroll to the bottom, check "Open Waiting Lists when Registration is Closed" and click Save.
When you return to the Control Center, you should see the new option of Waiting List, under the Meeting Wizard menu. You can click this to set up the messages that will display associated with the Waiting List. Also, make sure that the button at the bottom of the screen says "Turn Waiting List OFF" which means that it is currently set to come on when you reach capacity. When you have collected enough names for the waiting list, you can use the button to close the waiting list so that no one else is added.
A "Waiting List" report will be added to the Reports page showing who is on the list and the order that they registered.
Please note that the system does not collect payment information for those being added to the Waiting List, so if you decide to register someone from the waiting list to attend, you will need to contact them to get payment information.
To register someone on the waiting list, just use Fast Search to find them, and use Load Offline to input their info into the registration form.
