How to Switch the Session Room on a Podium Device

As your event progresses, there may be a need to repurpose Podium devices to other session rooms. This is especially helpful for resource management or if you are using a Preview/Practice device in the Speaker Ready Room.  

To switch the session on a Podium device, follow these steps:

1. Access the Switch Room site by entering http://localhost/podium/switchroom in a web browser. 
2. Use the drop down to select the room in which the speaker is scheduled to be presented. 
3. Select the Switch Room button.

4. The Podium device screen will refresh, and it will now be configured for the new session room.  
5. Now the Speaker Ready System will reflect the new session room and the presentations associated with the newly selected session room will be accessible on the Podium device.
