Accessing Your Eventscribe Onsite Account

Cadmium Identity Management System Login Guide

With the Cadmium Identity Management System, you can securely log in to Cadmium products (such as Eventscribe Onsite) following the steps below.

1. Enter your email address

To begin, an administrator must add you to the application’s user list and invite you to log in to the system. Enter the email address to which the invitation was sent and select the ‘Continue’ button.

NOTE

If you receive an “Account not found. Please try a different email address.” error, this is because you are attempting to log in with an email address that does not match an email address in the application’s user list. Please contact your site administrator for support; this is likely the person who invited you to log in to the system.

2. Verify your email address

The first time you log in, you will be prompted to verify your email address. An email will be automatically sent from Cadmium <[email protected]>. The email may take a few minutes to arrive; this is dependent on internet speed and email provider.

NOTE

If you do not receive this email, check your spam folder or contact your IT department to ensure you are able to receive emails from [email protected]. The “verify email” link will expire in 24 hours. If your link has expired, you will be directed to start over by entering your email address again as described in Step 1.

3. Create a password

Next, you will be prompted to create a password. To view your password before it is saved, select the eye icon in the password field to mask/unmask your password entry.

Your password must contain at least:

  • 12 characters
  • 1 uppercase letter
  • 1 number
  • 1 special character

For your security, your password:

  • Must be reset every 90 days.
  • Cannot be the same as your last 4 passwords.

Strong password recommendations:

  • Avoid using the same password as other accounts.
  • Password should not be your email address, or a password previously used for this site.
  • Choose a password that’s random and does not include personal information.
  • Remember: Longer is stronger!
  • Use a phrase of unrelated words or a random password generated by a password manager

4. Access the application

Once you have successfully created a password, you will be redirected to the application.

NOTE

If you receive an “access denied” message, this is because you are attempting to login with an email address that does not match an email address in the application’s user list. Please contact your site administrator for support; this is likely the person who invited you to log in to the system.

5. Log in in to an existing account

If you have an existing account, you will automatically progress to the login screen after you enter your email address.

  • You have up to 6 attempts to correctly enter your password. If you reach this limit, your account will be locked for 30 minutes.
  • If you cannot remember your password, you can select ‘Forgot password?’ to reset your password at any time.

NOTE

If you do not know or cannot remember your password, select ‘Forgot password?’ on the login screen to reset your password. You will need access to your email to complete the password reset steps. If you do not have access to your email, please contact your site administrator to create a new account for you with an email address that you do have access to.

6. Reset Password

If you cannot remember your password, you can reset it by selecting ‘Forgot password?’ on the login screen. An email will be automatically sent from Cadmium <[email protected]>. The email may take a few minutes to arrive; this is dependent on internet speed and email provider.

  • Once you select the “reset password” link in the email, refer to Step 3 to create a new password.
