- I go to the Fee Schedule and make a note of the promotion codes associated with these registration types (VIP and BOD).
Filters allow you to limit which registrants see/answer a UDF. There are several different types of filter:
- Filter Promo Codes - do not show to those who are purchasing/have purchased registration fees with these promotion codes. Enter a comma-delimited list of promotion codes.
- Restrict to Promo Codes - only show to those who are purchasing/have purchased registration fees with these promotion codes. Enter a comma-delimited list of promotion codes.
- Restrict to Fees - only show to those who are purchasing/have purchased specific option fees. Enter a comma-delimited list of FeeItemIDs.
- Restrict to UDFs with Values - only show to those who have selected a specific response to a previous UDF. Enter the UDFID of the previous question equal to either the ChoiceListID of the appropriate response for Choice Radio Button and Choice Drop-Down List fields or 'Yes' for Checkbox fields.

I have an optional fee available for a Golf Tournament. If my registrants choose to purchase this fee, I need them to provide their handicap. I do not need people who are not attending the tournament to answer this question.

- Next, I go to the UDF page and click Edit next to the question I would like to filter. I enter the following into the Restrict to Fees field: 433270
Restrict to UDFs with Values
I am asking my registrants if they have attended this meeting in the past, with the option of selecting either "Yes" or "No." If they select "Yes," I would like them to specify which years they attended.
- I go to the UDF page, click Edit next to the "Attended in past?" question, and make a note of the UDFID—the unique ID number associated with that field. In this case, the UDFID is 527010.
- Next, I scroll to the bottom of the UDF page and click on the Yes/No choice list for this question so that I can make a note of the ChoiceListID associated with the "Yes" response. In this case, the ChoiceListID is 276498.
- Lastly, I click Edit next to the "Which years(s)?" question and enter the following into the Restrict to UDFs with Values field: 527010=276498
